Re-considered Storyboard

After watching our Rough Cut through we came to the decision that we wanted to re-film our piece. Therefore we have decided to do a re-considered storyboard which will be based on our original idea of our rough cut however, changed slightly to give our new soap opera a better approach.

There will be a black screen to start off with.
(Long shot) In the pub, there will be people sitting at tables acting causal talking, having a drink to set the atmosphere in the setting of the pub at this point in time.
(Close-up) From the outside there will be people walking in to the pub, camera only showing their feet.

We would to re film our trailer so that it looks completely different to the original footage that we had. We will film it so that when we go to edit the footage that we have will be put together to create a large amount of suspense therefore making our target audience want to watch it. We will have a number of different people sat in the pub which will be shown as locals, it will flick from these people to the shot of actors walking into the pub but you can only see their feet. It will flick back and forth from these two shots which will get quicker each time, by doing this it will cause a large amount of suspense. We will then show shots of the 'locals' stop what they are doing and suddenly looking in a different direction with a shocked look on their faces. This is when we will then show a long shot of our seven characters acting to show their story lines and personalities, we will then use a close up to pan across their faces to show their facial expressions and adding titles at the same time.

We have also decided to add in short clips of other people sat at tables, drinks being poured and someone behind the bar. This will then add more footage to our trailer as well as creating more suspense for our target audience.

This shot would be a mid-shot with a person pouring themselves a drink

We would shoot this footage as a long shot or a mid shot depending on what frame looked better of two people sitting at a table

This shot would be a close-up of someone pouring (what seems to the audience to be an alcoholic beverage) into a wine glass
